1957

Foundation of PAMEC

On June 17, 1957, PAMEC, the Agricola Mechanization Patrol was founded, providing land preparation services to local farmers.

1961

Industrialization

The company turns into mechanical metal and changes its name to Painco. It starts to produce agricultural implements such as cultivators, harrows and plows.

1975

Machines and Equipments

1982

Capital Goods

Manufacturing of large projects for the mining, steel, sugar and food industries.

1990

Technological Progress

Painco begins a process of technological advancement and specializes in the serial production of parts for different tractor lines. The company acquires the first cutting equipment (oxyfuel and plasma), CNC machining technology and the first welding robots.

1997

Certified Supplier

Starts the full quality program by receiving from Caterpillar the internationally recognized Certified Supplier.

2001

Blanks Factory

Painco inaugurates a Blanks unit in Cubatão, within the steel complex Cosipa (currently Usiminas) Continuing its work on total quality, it receives its ISO 9002: 1994 certification.

2004

Increase in capacity

Starts the Six Sigma program with the formation of two black-belts and increases its steel cutting capacity to 100,000 tons per year.

2005

Social responsibility

Painco has social responsibility actions with the project "Reactivation of the musical corporation Santa Cecilia", using incentives from the Rouanet law and benefiting 115 young people.

2006

Inauguration of ACAP

As part of the company's values, Painco presented its collaborators and family members with the opening of ACAP (Athletic Cultural Association Painco).

2007

New industrial unit

Painco celebrates its 50th anniversary and inaugurates its new industrial unit and also starts the 5S concepts and practices across the enterprise.

2008

Awards of Você S/A and Exame magazine

Painco consolidates its units and prepares for the development of Lean Manufacturing management. It receives for the first time the recognition as one of the "150 best companies for you to work", award granted by the magazines Você S/A and Exame.

2009

World Class Certification

Receives Caterpillar World Class SQEP - Supplier Quality Excellence process certification and becomes the world's largest certified supplier in the fabricated segment. It enlarges the cutting plant, acquiring laser technology.

2010

Innovation

It implements the SIGA ideas program and robotic welding.

2013

New Paint Line

Inaugurates a new paint line and wins "7 Steps to Weld Excellence" certification from Caterpillar and International Welding Accreditation awarded by the PRI - Performance Review Institute and General Electric.

2014

Double certification ISO

ISO 14.001 allows an organization to develop and practice environmentally sustainable policies and targets and ISO 3834 which specifies the quality requirements for welding processes in metallic materials. Painco was one of the first companies in Brazil to achieve this certification.

2015

New Recognitions

Painco is elected by Gamesa as the best supplier in Brazil in the category "Delivery" and is recognized as the 4th best company to work in the region of Piracicaba by Great Place to Work.
